The Government extends the Furlough scheme to September 2021.
Workers across the United Kingdom will benefit from increased support with a five-month extension of the Furlough scheme into Autumn 2021.
Through this scheme, the government will pay up to 80 percent of people’s wages, up to a maximum of £2,500 per month. Anyone employed (or on a PAYE basis) can be furloughed. This includes people on zero-hours’ contracts or those working flexibly.
